FRIDAY
So Friday was an early start at a private cocktail party in Logan Circle. The party was very festive and had a lot going on. After several drinks, great convo and some of the sexiest people, I had way too much energy to even think about hitting it home. I made plans to meet up with some of the folks from the cocktail party at Halo. With that, I hit it over to Halo for one of those infamous martinis. After a few libations and a mediocre crowd it was time to bounce again. I hit it down to ole’ glory (the Fireplace) in Dupont Circle. The second floor was surprisingly packed. The music was poppin and for some reason the dudes had their ultimate swag on. I met up with my buddy Marcus and after making a few rounds and throwing a few back it was time to make moves again.

I have been telling my boi Mac for that last few weeks that I was going to make it to his Lust Fridays Party @ Mirrors. Well last Friday I finally did. Now Mirrors is not normally my type of venue but I said what the hell…try something new. I arrived at Mirrors about 1:00 AM and was greeted by my boi Donald who was collecting money at the window. First Kudos, these promoters are hands on…GREAT. He waved me in and as soon as the door opened I was hit with an energy that was really hard to explain. The place was PACKED. OMG…I saw nothing but people from the very back to the stage in the very front gyrating all over the venue. I told myself, “oh, hellz yeah…I’m about to get loose.” I fleeced by the coat check, making my way to the bar and then it happened. “Excuse me; you need to check your coat.” Knowing the security guard wasn’t talking to me, I proceeded to the bar. He said it again louder and I saw that he was, in fact, talking to me. Not really paying him any mind, I told him that I wouldn’t be checking my jacket and kept walking. “Sorry dude, you need to check your coat; it’s the club policy.” Now, if you guys remember that coat checking fiasco at Mirrors doing an alternative nightlife party were about 30-40 patrons checked their jackets and had to leave without them because of some mix up then you know they were not laying a hand on mine jacket. I immediately went to Donald, who seemed surprised at the policy as well. He offered to hold on to my jacket until I left. A very easy fix. Second Kudos… customer service was everything. With that I handed him my jacket fleeced by security and over to the bar. A bottle of champagne and a long island iced tea and I was ready to PARTY. I headed over to the stage to find my bois L-Bogie and Joey Bahamas from K-5 Entertainment partying like ROCKSTARS. It wasn’t until I got up on the stage that I saw the magnitude of how many people where actually in the place; I am sure they broke some kind of capacity regulation. The dancers were alright, which is just fine with me. I would much rather see new-faced entertainers than those who’ve been doing the circuit in DC for years. Same dancers, same moves, same tricks, same outfits…just the same ole same ole. It was refreshing to see new fresh faces. After the bottle of champagne and the cocktail I was feeling GREAT. A two-step or two later and I was back at the bar. The bar area was packed and I couldn’t see waiting in the line. Because I purchased bottle service the manager allowed me to come around to the side of the bar to be served by my own bartender….customer service…I LIVE!!! After about 2 large Blue Motorcycles, Marcus and I felt it time we dash. With that, we glanced at one another and without words we grabbed our ish and fleeced toward the front door. We left at about 2:30 am and people we’re still lining up to come in. I had a great time at the party. If I had to rate it on a scale from 1-10. I’d give it a solid 8.5. Nothing that the club or promoters did but it loses that grown and sexy vibe you get with 21 and over crowd. There seemed to have been a few too many under 21 year olds in the house for me. Will I be back? ABSOLUTELY. I had a blast. I love the fact that the DJ played a great variety of music not sticking to that cookie cut-out of the same music sets. Omega Entertainment…KUDOS on a well orchestrated party.
After the Omega party was the After Party. We hit it over my bois after party for more libations and great conversation. The vibe was Ultra Sexy. I GOT MY LIFE.
SATURDAY
So Sat was another long night. I hosted a Taste of Italy Dinner Party for some close friends which turned out PERFECT. A 3-course homemade (yes, I said homemade) Italian dinner, great wine, phenomenal conversation and ultra fabulous people were all the ingreedience I needed to make the dinner party a huge success. After dinner and shaking our asses, we all sat around the fireplace just having great conversations about life. Nisha shut the party down with an impromptu concert with the fireplace as a backdrop…sickening.

After the dinner party, it was time for the ROCKSTAR MOONLIGHT Party. I grabbed my stunas and studded belts and joined the party goers for a great cause. Thanks to lovely ladies and swaggerific fellas that made the night a success. After the ROCKSTAR Party I need to fleece over to Lace for my gal Monique’s 25 Birthday Celebration.

I arrived at Lace at about 1:00 to surprise the birthday girl and surprised she was. She was not expecting me to make it. I did after all leave my Rock star event to come wish her happy bday. Mo’s party was OFF THE HOOK. The VIP Room was something else.
Bottle poppin, celebrities, radio personalities, one to the baddest DJ’s in DC and of course yours truly (LOL) made this party a night to remember. As I sat back in VIP and enjoyed the mini concert Monique’s celebrity guest put on, I looked around and couldn’t help getting a little choked up at how proud I was of the DIVA who was surround by those who love her and who has been continuing to do her thing since I first met her years ago.
Happy Day DIVA and may you have 25+ successful more. After the Bday celebration, it was time to hit it back to the ROCKSTAR Event. A few more cocktails and it was time to call it a night.

SUNDAY
Sunday was the usual at the residence, wake up to libations, have brunch, more libations, blast music, have friends over, more libations and, if I decide to go out, pull it together and dash. We’ll Sunday, I decided to go out. The first stop at 11:30 PM was the Trap. Not even a full cocktail later and I was ready to bounce. I hit to the Eyebar and knew I was gonna have a blast as soon as I got in. Not sure if I should blame on the alcohol but it seemed like no soon had I arrived, I was walking back out. I must have had a hot ass time…I think..LOL. I hit it to Chinatown to get something greasy to eat up the alcohol I’ve been consuming all day. After my food arrived I fleeced home to hit the sheets. Gosh what a weekend. I think I mention all the parties I hit..I THINK. See you out in DC’s nightlife.
